West Bengal Election Result 2021 Live Updates: As votes were being checked, the Mamata Banerjee-drove Trinamool Congress (TMC) cruised through the midway imprint pushing past the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a fervently battled constituent challenge in West Bengal, making way for a major success in the politically vital state. 


The tallying of votes started at 8 am, and after introductory leads showing an in a dead heat battle, the TMC kept an agreeable lead. Postal voting forms were tallied first. In any case, as the day advanced, the TMC flooded past the BJP in the race, leaving its challenger a long ways behind. 


Starting at 6 pm, the TMC had crossed the midway imprint in the 294-seat gathering with 156 successes and was ahead in 216 seats, and the BJP in 71 (45 successes). In the acutely watched Nandigram seat, assistant turned-rival Suvendu Adhikari crushed Mamata by 1,622 votes following a few flip-flops over the outcomes.
